A man was arrested by a Newbury Park police officer in a recent incident after they stopped a young man in his 30s from selling sexual enhancement drugs at a drugstore in a bid to buy him a Viagra.
The man had been arrested at the store when he was arrested at around 11am on Tuesday. The officer, who arrived at the store early, found him selling a variety of drugs, including Viagra and a number of other illegal drugs. They arrested him and took him to a local pharmacy where he was being treated for a headache. A prescription for Viagra has been issued and the man has been sent a warning letter. A search of the man’s room found a pack of tablets that contained 100mg of sildenafil, which is sold as Revatio, which is sold as Revatio-D and Revatio-C.
The man, who was also arrested on the same night, has been charged with possession and trafficking. He has also been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The officer said he is in contact with his wife and the man has been advised that he is not to be involved in any of the above.
“I was informed of the police concerns, and I was aware that the man would be seen in person by the officers and had no concerns,” he said.
A statement from the police department said: “A search of the men’s room found a pack of Viagra tablets containing 100mg of the drug.”
The incident took place around 11am.
The man, who was being treated for a headache, was taken to the emergency room and had a prescription for VIAGRA. At the time he was in the hospital, and after taking the prescription, he was diagnosed with severe headache and was given an MRI scan. The MRI revealed a “severe” head injury, which had been causing him problems for more than a month.
The officers were sent to the hospital on the same day. A follow up MRI of the head found that the man had a “blepharospasm” that “caused severe headaches in the patient and was accompanied by symptoms of a severe headache, dizziness, and fainting.”
The officers found that the man had been operating the pharmacy from the front door and had access to the internet.
“The officers are working with the pharmacy team to address the issues and help the man, but we are still looking into the man’s issue with the drugs,” said the statement.
The man has been arrested and is being taken to a nearby hospital.
